Changes in Email Programs

As part of our ongoing commitment to security, we are continually reviewing security measures. Most of these changes happen behind the scenes and do not require any action on your behalf. OVIS will now require SMTP Authentication to be enabled on customer's computers when sending email. This change is needed to enhance the security of our email system and assure continued reliable service. After you change this setting in your software, you will not notice any changes. Your email program will send and receive email just as it always has.

UPDATE: If you use Outlook Express on Windows and your email address is @ovis.net, you can download our ChangeMail.exe application which will automatically turn on SMTP Authentication in your program.
